BY ROAD

By Road

Please note that detailed directions can be obtained from a number of websites including the following link: http://maps.google.co.uk/

However, for convenience, a summary of the directions is as follows.

From Glasgow or the South: If travelling via Glasgow take the M8 and follow the signs for the Erskine Bridge which takes you onto the A82. This route travels up the side of Loch Lomond via` Tarbert arriving directly in Crianlarich. On arriving in Crianlarich you will reach a T-junction, turn right onto the A85 which is signposted Stirling, Perth. Craigbank Guest House is the 1st House on the right beyond the Rod and Reel pub.

From Edinburgh or the South: If travelling via Edinburgh, take the M9 to Stirling and then the A84 to Callander which later joins the A85 from Lochearnhead. On arriving in Crianlarich Craigbank Guest House is the 2nd house on the left just before the Rod and Reel pub.

From Glencoe or Fort William: Take the A82 to Crianlarich, on entering Crianlarich, carry on the A85 until the Rod and Reel pub, Craigbank Guest House is the 1st house on the right beyond the pub.

From Oban: Take the A82 to Crianlarich, on entering Crianlarich, carry on the A85 until the Rod and Reel pub, Craigbank Guest House is the 1st house on the right beyond the pub.


ON FOOT (from West Highland Way)

On Foot

From the West Highland Way turn right down the obvious path and head towards Crianlarich Station. To reach the station you will need to cross the A82 (please do this with care). Pass beneath the station underpass, and then as soon as you are out of the underpass turn left and make your way down the road towards the village shop and the main road. At the end of the road turn right and proceed approx 200 yards (180 metres) to the Rod and Reel Pub, from here you will be able to see Craigbank Guest House which is the white house directly beyond the pub car park.


BY RAIL

By Rail

Trains leave Glasgow Queen Street Station every few hours, the journey takes approximately 2 hours, for train times please consult www.nationalrail.co.uk

On reaching Crianlarich Station, alight from the train and walk towards the exit which takes you into an ‘underpass’ and down a flight of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs turn right for a few meters. As soon as you are out of the underpass turn left and make your way down the road towards the village shop and the main road. At the end of the road turn right and proceed approx 200 yards (180 metres) to the Rod and Reel Pub, from here you will be able to see Craigbank Guest House which is the white house directly beyond the pub car park.


BY COACH/BUS

Buses leave Buchanan Street Bus Station, and Glasgow Airport, every few hours, the journey takes approximatey 2 hours, for bus times please consult www.travelinescotland.com. On arrival at Crianlarich the bus will stop outside the Crianlarich Hotel. From there cross the road and head towards the overhead railway bridge. Pass under the bridge and head towards the Rod & Reel Pub, just beyond that is Craigbank Guest House, instantly recognisable by its white painted exterior.
