Arrival and Departure
Guests can check in between 2.30pm and 7pm. If prior arrangements have not been made, and you do not arrive by 9pm, we are entitled to treat it as a "no-show". Your booking will be cancelled and we have the right to re-let your room. We request that you vacate your room 10 a.m on the day of departure. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to charge for an additional night's stay.
We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit card, credit card (sorry no Amex) or bank transfer (please contact us for bank details), note however that a small fee will apply if using a credit card. We would appreciate a £10 deposit payable at time of booking. This is refundable in full if cancellation in writing is given up to 14 days prior to commencement of stay, please see below.
In the event of cancellation, for whatever reason, we will make every effort to re-let your booking. If the accommodation remains unoccupied, we are entitled to ask for a further payment to compensate us for our loss, as set out as follows: If cancellation is given with more than 14 days notice we will refund your deposit; between 7 and 14 days (inclusive) we will retain your deposit; if less than 7 days we may request the total cost of the room.
Damage and Breakage
We are sure that you will take care whilst you stay with us, and we acknowledge that accidents sometimes happen. We do however reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages which we consider is not accidental, for any items discovered missing after you depart or for the cost of the room for any time period for which it is considered un-usable due to damage.
We are a No Smoking establishment. If we find that guests have been smoking in the room, or anywhere within the guesthouse, then we reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately and charge the outstanding balance. In addition we reserve the right to charge a sum equivalent to one night's stay if we are unable to re-let the room for 24 hours whilst it is fully aired.
We do accept pets, however we request that owners ensure they are not left unattended in the room at any time and actively prevent them from climbing on beds and soft furnishings. A supplement will be charged if whilst cleaning the room we discover these set conditions have not been adhered to.
